CHICAGO — Dionna White and Dorothy Adomako played all 40 minutes and combined for 52 points as Georgetown outdistanced Villanova 76-67 in BIG EAST Women's Tournament Quarterfinals on Sunday at Wintrust Arena.
White led all scorers with 27 points and added nine rebounds as the Hoyas (16-14) advanced to Monday’s BIG EAST Semifinals against top-seed Marquette.
Adomako added 25 points for the Hoyas, who overpowered the Wildcats in the third quarter to take command.
Mary Gedaka topped Villanova (18-12) with 20 points while Kelly Jekot and Adrianna Hahn added 15 apiece.
Villanova led 42-38 at halftime of a brisk, competitive game that featured nine lead changes and four ties through the first 20 minutes.
