BIG EAST Male Athlete of the Week
Giuseppe De Camelis, St. John’s, So. (Trani, Italy)
St. John’s sophomore Giuseppe De Camelis helped the Red Storm go 3-0 to close out the regular season. De Camelis was perfect himself, taking all three singles matches that he played on the No. 4 court, while also picking up a doubles victory. On Tuesday, the Red Storm sophomore took his match against Temple in three sets, winning the first and final frames by scores of 6-0 and 6-2. Against Fordham on Saturday, De Camelis won easily, 6-0 and 6-2, while picking up another victory against NJIT on Sunday, 6-4 and 7-5.
