It was a tight affair in Milwaukee, but the Golden Eagles proved victorious.
Coming off the heels of a big road win over #8 Providence, there was some worry that Marquette might be in for an emotional hangover against St. John's.
Those fears were made even more prevalent when the Red Storm took a 39-31 lead into the half.
Marquette, however, was able to get it together in the second half and put the Red Storm away for a 81-75 victory.
Luke Fischer led the charge for the Golden Eagles, racking up 18 points before fouling out with two minutes to play.
