Following their big win over the Xavier Musketeers on Saturday, the Marquette Golden Eagles find themselves on the right side of the bubble still, at least in ESPN’s Joe Lunardi’s most recent Bracketology.
Sure, the Golden Eagles would be headed to Dayton to play a game in the First Four, but that certainly beats the alternative.
Marquette still has work to do, though, and that work continues Tuesday night when they welcome the St. John’s Red Storm to the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
The Red Storm don’t find themselves appearing on any brackets at the moment, however, at 6-8 in Big East play, the Red Storm could benefit hugely if they can defeat the 7-7 Golden Eagles.
