The St. John’s Red Storm (6-2) return to action Tuesday evening as they play host to the Saint Peter’s Peacocks (1-3).
Saint Peter’s comes into this game as one of the worst offensive teams in the nation, checking in at #346 of 353 teams in Adjusted Offensive Efficiency on KenPom. Their mark of 86.6 is significantly below the national average of 99.4.
The Peacocks have a special connection to the Big East, though, by way of their head coach Shaheen Holloway. Holloway was a four-year player at Seton Hall in the late 90s, and an assistant on Kevin Willard’s staff for the first eight years of this decade before getting the Saint Peter’s job last season.
