St. John’s guard Shamorie Ponds declaring for NBA Draft, not hiring agent

After already losing Marcus LoVett and Tariq Owens, the St. John’s Red Storm could be without their dynamic point guard Shamorie Ponds next season, as well.

Ponds announced via Instagram on Saturday that he was declaring for the NBA Draft but would not be hiring an agent.

As a kid growing up my dream was to play in the NBA. I would like to thank the St John's University coaching staff for putting me in a position to succeed, and achieve my dream goal.
