NEW YORK – Jenna Foreman of Butler was named BIG EAST Softball Player of the Week and St. John’s Madison Morris was named BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week the conference announced Monday.

Hot at the plate, Foreman finished last week with seven consecutive base hits and a .846 batting average, leading the Bulldogs to a perfect 4-0 week. The sophomore had 11 hits in 13 at-bats, including going 9-for-10 against Villanova in a three-game weekend BIG EAST series.
