Seton Hall will be headed back to New Jersey with a sense of disappointment, following Sunday night’s 66-49 loss to Stanford to end the Advocare Invitational with a lackluster 1-2 record.
With ten minutes remaining in the first half, the Pirates had their largest lead of the night, 10 points, and looked to be en route to a comfortable win.
Seton Hall went cold, and allowed the Cardinal to tie the game at 26 heading into the half behind 18 combined points from Dorian Pickens and Reid Travis.
The second half saw more of the same for Seton Hall, as the Pirates saw Stanford go on a 17-7 run out of the break to get their lead to 10.
