The Seton Hall Pirates will walk out of Iowa City just as they entered: Unblemished and without a tally in the loss column, as they handled their business and defeated the Iowa Hawkeyes 91-83 in the seventh game of eight in the 2016 edition of the Gavitt Games.
The Pirates were led by freshman Myles Powell who dropped 26 points on the night. Looking cool, calm and collected, Powell was especially great from the 3-point line where he went 5-for-7.
As a team, the Pirates shot the ball extremely well from long range as they amassed a mark of 8-for-17 on the night as they took it to Iowa’s perimeter defense.
