Can you say his last name? No? That’s alright. Most people can’t. But regardless of that, the sophomore forward is taking a giant leap ahead for the Seton Hall Pirates this season, and the latest proof of that came in Tuesday night’s 77-57 win over the New Hampshire Wildcats.
Mamukelashvili recorded his first career double-double, netting 14 points and grabbing a game-high 11 rebounds for the Pirates, who were without big men Taurean Thompson (ankle) and Romaro Gill (DNP-CD).
Aside from Mamukelashvili, Seton Hall got a balanced scoring attack from all five starters, as all five recorded double digits.
