The 15th-ranked Seton Hall Pirates fell at the hands of their in-state rivals Saturday afternoon. The Pirates suffered their second loss of the season to the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, who energized a comeback effort at the RAC in Piscataway. By afternoon’s end, RU celebrated a 71-65 victory over The Hall, their first since March 8, 2013, when they were part of the Big East.
The Hall was plagued by a bad shooting effort down the stretch. They went without a field goal for the last 6:06 of the game and were 0 for their last 8 attempts from the field.
