The Butler Bulldogs jumped out to an 8-0 lead on Saturday against the Saint Louis Billikens – they never looked back. Back in the friendly confines of Hinkle Fieldhouse after two weeks away, the Bulldogs opened up with a 1-2 punch of three pointers by Kelan Martin and Paul Jorgensen. A six-point deficit was as close as Saint Louis ever got, and Butler cruised to a 75-45 victory.
Martin finished with 20 points and 12 rebounds, and Kamar Baldwin chipped in 14 points. The Bulldogs emptied the bench and got contributions from everybody.
