After a coaching search that went in several different directions over a week and a half, the St. John’s Red Storm appear to have a new head coach: Mike Anderson.
Roger Rubin had the news first.
Anderson has a 369-200 career record, with stops at UAB, Missouri, and Arkansas. In his 17 seasons as a head coach, Anderson’s teams have made the NCAA Tournament or NIT 12 times.
Jon Rothstein notes that the move could be officially announced on Friday.
