Report: Butler hires LaVall Jordan as head coach

Well, that was fast.

Just days after Chris Holtmann left Butler for Ohio State, the Bulldogs have hired Milwaukee Panthers coach LaVall Jordan.

David Woods had the news first.

Was trending that way since last night, but can confirm:

Jordan played for the Bulldogs from 1997-2001 and made the postseason in all four seasons, with three NCAA Tournament appearances and one NIT appearance. After his playing career ended, Jordan was named an assistant coach on Todd Lickliter’s staff.
