After a strong start to the season and a stumble in the middle, the Providence Friars appear to be back where they were in nonconference play, as they surged past the St. John's Red Storm 90-76 in both teams' regular season finale.
Jalen Lindsey led the Friars with a career high 30 points, Ben Bentil added 23 and 10 rebounds, and Kris Dunn had 13 points and 11 assists.
All in all, it was a dominant display from the Friars, who hit 13 three-pointers. Providence improved to 10-8 in BIG EAST play and will be the 4-seed in the BIG EAST Tournament, playing Thursday afternoon against whoever the 5-seed ends up being.
