Providence vs. Boston College final score: Friars thump Eagles, 86-66

The Providence Friars defeated the Boston College Eagles on Saturday by the score of 86-66. This continues the trend of the two New England programs alternating wins over the past seven seasons. It was all Friars tonight. Rodney Bullock led the way with 20 points and six rebounds.

The Eagles started off the night dominating the glass with 11 rebounds to Providence’s three. Nine of BC’s 19 first half boards came on the offensive end, but the Eagles had just eight points off turnovers. The inability to convert those second chance points would ultimately come back to bite them.
