The Providence Friars are still in the thick of things this week. After edging the Davidson Wildcats on Tuesday, the Friars are back at it on Wednesday. They play the Alabama Crimson Tide in the evening to wrap up their run through the 2020 Maui Invitational in Asheville. Only 2020 with that last sentence, folks.
The Crimson Tide, like the Friars, are 2-1 as well. They, just like the Friars, won their opener (vs. Jacksonville State), lost their second game (vs. Stanford) and won their third game (vs. UNLV). The only real difference between them and the Friars is that their MOV has been vastly different.
