The Providence Friars will head to Uncasville, Connecticut for a neutral site game with the Houston Cougars on December 20th, the school announced today.
The Friars have never faced Houston before, but they are 1-0 all-time against teams from the American Athletic Conference, having defeated Memphis last year.
Providence has played at Mohegan Sun in the past, and with it being just 56 miles from the school, it’s safe to expect a lot of Friars fans in the building.
Additionally, top 2017 commit Makai Ashton-Langford is from Connecticut, so this will be a homecoming of sorts for him.
