NEW YORK – Providence’s Catarina Rocha and Aaron Hanlon have captured BIG EAST Athletes of the Week honors in cross country. Rocha was named Female Athlete of the Week and Hanlon was selected Male Athlete of the Week after their performances in the Coast to Coast Battle-In-Beantown Invitational.

Aaron Hanlon, Providence, Sr. – Hanlon finished 24th in the Coast to Coast Battle-In-Beantown Invitational with a time of 24:50.3 in the 8k competition at Boston’s Franklin Park. Rainy conditions had a significant effect on the race times.
