As is usually the case, the Providence Friars are the cream of the crop in the state of Rhode Island yet again, as they pulled off a 59-50 victory over the Rhode Island Rams at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center on Saturday afternoon.
AJ Reeves set the tone for the Friars with 15 points, eight of which came before the first media timeout of the game as the freshman guard found his confidence and his shot early on. Though plagued by foul trouble, Alpha Diallo made his impact felt on the boards as usual, hauling in a team-high eight rebounds on the evening.
