NEW YORK – No. 3 seed Providence and No. 5 seed Butler won their first round matches on Saturday to move on to semifinal action in the 2019 BIG EAST Men’s Soccer Championship presented by Jeep. Both winners shutout their opponents. Providence knocked off No. 6 Marquette, 3-0, at Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium in the afternoon opener.
