It was like Butler didn’t even show up in the first half. They were up ten, I’ll give them that. But it didn’t feel like ten. They shot 18 percent from behind the arc and were only ahead by four boards. This was a Northern Colorado team that went 10-21 last season.
Then, the second half started and everything was fine. But I was worried for a little bit, okay? The Bulldogs only allowed 21 points in the second half while scoring 48 of their own, to cruise to an 89-52 victory.
Kelan Martin led the way for Butler with 21 points and six rebounds.
