PROVIDENCE, R.I. – For the first time since 2012, the No. 4 seed will face off against the No. 3 seed in the BIG EAST Championship final, presented by Jeep. Third-seeded Providence will host fourth-seeded Marquette in the final which will air on FS2 on Saturday, May 6 at 4:47 p.m. ET/3:47 p.m. CST. The BIG EAST Champion will earn the league’s automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament. The tournament selection show will be at 9 p.m. on ESPNU.
Marquette upset No. 1 seed Denver, 11-8 and Providence defeated No. 2 seed Villanova, 10-7 in Thursday’s semifinals.
