PROVIDENCE, R.I. – For the fourth time in the history of the BIG EAST men’s lacrosse championship, No. 1 Denver will play against No. 2 Georgetown for the conference tournament title. The Hoyas enter Saturday’s game as the two-time defending champion. Brent Stover and Steve Panarelli will be on the call from Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium with the championship game starting at 3 p.m. ET on CBS Sports Network. The championship is presented by JEEP.
The No. 1 and No. 2 seeds have met in the championship game six times previously in the short history of the tournament (2019, 2018, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013).
