St. John's came away with a 48-44 victory -- not a typo -- over Niagara at Carnesecca Arena in Jamaica, Queens. The Johnnies move to 6-3 on the season, making it four years in a row that the Red Storm have gone through the first nine games of the year with a record of 6-3 or better.
Federico Mussini led all St. John's scorers with 11 points while Christian Jones complemented with 10.
