NEW YORK – Seton Hall guard Myles Powell and Marquette forward Joey Hauser have won weekly basketball honors. Powell was named BIG EAST Player of the Week and Hauser was chosen BIG EAST Freshman of the Week. Both players helped their teams to 2-0 weeks that included a victory over a ranked opponent on Saturday.

Myles Powell, Seton Hall, G, Jr. – Powell scored 28 points in an 84-83 overtime win against No. 9 Kentucky in the Citi Hoops Classic at Madison Square Garden. The junior guard propelled the Pirates by scoring 25 of his 28 points after halftime.
