On the second night of BIG EAST play, No. 23 Seton Hall came back to beat No. 25 Creighton and Kyron Cartwright put together an extremely impressive stat line while helping the Friars beat St. John’s in Carnesecca Arena.
In the five season-opening games, the winning team has scored at least 90 points. Seton Hall was the only home team to win.
The Pirates held the Bluejays scoreless in the final 3:32 in their 90-84 victory. Desi Rodriguez led the comeback with 23 points. Khadeen Carrington and Angel Delgado each added 18 points. Both Delgado and Michael Nzei pulled down 14 rebounds.
