On a wild Saturday night at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center, Providence treated its sellout crowd to 34-9 start against first-place and No. 10 ranked Seton Hall. The Pirates recovered to reduce the big deficit to two points with eight minutes to go before the Friars (14-12, 7-6 BIG EAST) prevailed 74-71. PC coach Ed Cooley said Alpha Diallo had his best career game at the Dunk. The senior scored 35 points and pulled down 10 rebounds while shooting 11-of-15 from the field and 5-of-5 from 3-point range.
