On Senior Night, Georgetown center Jessie Govan had what coach Patrick Ewing called the “best game of his career” in the Hoyas’ 77-71 double-overtime win over Seton Hall. Govan finished with 21 points and 12 rebounds and scored all 11 of Georgetown’s points in the second overtime. Freshman Josh LeBlanc contributed 14 points, 17 rebounds and three steals. Seton Hall’s Myles Powell scored a game-high 35 points. Sandro Mamukelashvili added 14 points and 11 rebounds. The win lifted Georgetown (18-11 overall) into a three-way tied for third place with Xavier and St. John’s at 8-8. The Pirates (16-12) fell to 7-9.
