BIG EAST teams went 5-for-5 on Saturday to improve their own records to 2-0 and the overall league mark to 18-0.
All was not without some bumps in the road, however. Seton Hall, while hosting Stony Brook at Walsh Gym, lost Preseason BIG EAST Player of the Year Myles Powell to an ankle injury just 3:31 into the game. He did not return. His Pirate teammates took over and posted a 74-57 victory. Four players reached double figures led by Sandro Mamukelashvili, who had 17 points. Quincy McKnight scored 14 points and had no turnovers in 33 minutes.
