Creighton used a balanced scoring attack with four players reaching double figures in a 75-61 victory against Butler before 18,089 fans at the CHI Health Center. The game was Creighton’s annual Pink Out which raises money locally in the Coaches vs. Cancer effort.
The win moved the Bluejays from a tie for eighth place to a tie for the third in the league standings. Creighton is 12-8 overall and 3-4 in the BIG EAST.
Ty-Shon Alexander led four Bluejays in double figures with 19 points. Martin Krampelj added 16 points and a game-high eight rebounds. Creighton outshot Butler from the field 50 percent to 39.
