MBB Minute: Creighton Wins On The Road, Villanova-Butler Set For Sunday Night

Creighton was the only road winner on a Saturday afternoon that included three contests. The Bluejays built a 41-33 halftime lead at Seton Hall, then scored on eight of their first nine possessions of the second half to win 82-67. Maurice Watson, Jr. scored 13 points and dealt 14 assists, the most assists by a Creighton player since 1974. Geoffrey Groselle made 7-of-8 from the floor and finished with 20 points. Khadeen Carrington had 17 points for Seton Hall. It was the Pirates' first loss at home this season.

St. John's was leading at Marquette for about 35 minutes, before the Golden Eagles rallied for an 81-75 win.
