As the Chicago Cubs continue to rack up wins, outfielder (and former Villanova Wildcat) Matt Szczur continues to have the time of his life.
Szczur caught the first pitch from NFL analysts Mike Mayock and Kurt Warner, who were at Wrigley Field promoting Thursday's NFL Draft in Chicago.
In addition to an excellent baseball career, Szczur had a great football career at Villanova as a wide receiver, running back, and wildcat quarterback.
The Cubs were so concerned with Szczur's NFL potential, they offered an extra $500,000 on his signing bonus if he pledged, in writing, to not attend the NFL combine and stick with baseball.
