Marquette’s Howard, Villanova’s Robinson-Earl Take #BIGEASTmbb Weekly Honors

NEW YORK – Marquette guard Markus Howard has been named BIG EAST Player of the Week and Villanova forward Jeremiah Robinson-Earl has been selected BIG EAST Freshman of the Week. Both players helped their teams to 2-0 weeks. Howard has become the BIG EAST’s all-time leader with 12 Player of the Week awards. Robinson-Earl averaged a double-double for a second straight week while earning Freshman honors.

Markus Howard, Marquette, G, Sr. – Howard averaged 38.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists while helping the Golden Eagles to wins over Xavier (85-63) and at Georgetown (84-80).
