The junior is tabbed as one of 20 on the inaugural award watch honoring small forwards
SPRINGFIELD, Mass.— Marquette University women’s basketball forward Erika Davenport has been selected to the watch list for the 2018 Cheryl Miller Award, an annual award recognizing the top small forwards in women’s NCAA Division I Basketball. This will be the inaugural season for the award.
Davenport was a 2017 All-BIG EAST honoree following a successful sophomore campaign. The Clarkston, Mich. product was just shy of averaging a double-double in her sophomore season (13.4 points/game, 9.2 rebounds/game), but led the league with a total of 14 double-doubles.
