Five players scored in double figures on Tuesday night as the Marquette Golden Eagles soared to a 104-79 victory over the IUPUI Jaguars.
The win, which propelled Marquette to 3-2 on the young season, snaps their two-game losing streak and props them back over the .500 mark in the process. The victory also marked their second such at home this year and was the first time they hit the 100-point mark since dropping 101 vs. St. John’s in last year’s Big East Conference Tournament.
Sophomore guard Haanif Cheatham led all scorers with 22 points but it was his fellow guard who may have had the best all-around game of the night.
