Coming into the game with little margin for error for their NCAA Tournament hopes, the Georgetown Hoyas took care of business against the Marquette Golden Eagles, 80-62, Saturday afternoon at the Verizon Center.
The Hoyas were led by their three leading scorers on the season: Jessie Govan (game-high 23 points), LJ Peak (20) and Rodney Pryor (20). When 78% of your points come from three players, it’s pretty easy to pinpoint what went well. Additionally, Pryor grabbed 10 rebounds for his second double-double as a Hoya.
