Marquette picks up 76-69 victory over UTEP

Despite going 4-for-22 from the 3-point arc, the Marquette Golden Eagles pulled out a win on Tuesday night. The Golden Eagles defeated the UTEP Miners 76-69 at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, as they improved to 7-2 on the year with their fourth straight win.

The Golden Eagles defense held UTEP to 69 points and under 45 percent from the field. They shot just 6-for-20 from 3-point land and 42.4 percent from the floor in general. UTEP couldn’t make much from the FT line, although their 68.4 percent mark bested Marquette’s 66.7 percent mark from the FT line.
