Sophomore Marquette guard Sacar Anim will be redshirting this season, per a tweet from the program.
Anim averaged 1.2 points per game in 5.2 minutes per game for the Golden Eagles as he tried to find a role.
The redshirt is mutually beneficial this season, as Marquette has nine players listed as a guard, including Anim. It’s smarter to take the year off and continue to develop rather than fight for limited playing time.
