CHICAGO – The second installment of the BIG EAST Women’s Basketball Tournament Final featuring Marquette and DePaul is set for Tuesday at Chicago’s Wintrust Arena after both squads won their respective Semifinal contests. The top-seeded Golden Eagles edged fourth-seeded Creighton, 76-70, while the second-seeded Blue Demons avenged an upset-minded sixth-seeded Georgetown squad, 85-53. Marquette and DePaul meet in the tourney final for a second straight year after the Golden Eagles claimed their first BIG EAST Tournament crown in 2017 on their home court at the Al McGuire Center, 86-78.
