In a not-so-surprising and pretty expected maneuver, Marcus LoVett has departed from the St. John’s Red Storm program. LoVett, a sophomore guard who’d been injured for much of the season, will be pursuing a pro career per a release from the Red Storm.
There’d been rumors that Marcus was going to depart after last season, but he instead decided to come back for his sophomore season. Now, though, after an injury has kept him out for the entirety of conference play and the tail end of nonconference action, he has decided to not suit up for the Johnnies again.
