Macura leads Xavier past Clemson

What a difference 24 hours makes.

Thursday afternoon, Xavier looked discombobulated and out of sorts offensively against Missouri for most of the game, aside from JP Macura’s 19 points on 6-14 shooting.

Friday afternoon in Xavier’s (###) win over Clemson, Macura was a big story, but not the only story for the Musketeers.

The junior paced the Musketeers with a career-high 28 points, with 23 coming in the first half on 10-18 shooting. Trevon Bluiett bounced back from a rough outing on Thursday with 21 points, and Edmond Sumner did a little bit of everything, with 11 points, six rebounds, and six assists.
