Georgetown 15, 20/19 Johns Hopkins 14
Trailing 6-4 midway through the first half, Georgetown (3-1) scored five of the next six goals, including two by Francesca Whitehurst, to take a 9-7 lead. The Hoyas never trailed again and led by as many as four, despite a late-game push by the nationally ranked Blue Jays. Whitehurst finished with four points off a hat trick and assist and added six draw controls, while Haelle Chomo made seven saves in the cage. The top-25 win was Georgetown’s first since knocking off No. 15/14 Duke, 10-9, on March 9, 2016.
