The Hoyas continued to play spoiler, edging the Bluejays by three in Washington, D.C., dashing Creighton’s chances at a second-consecutive BIG EAST regular-season title. Georgetown now has wins over DePaul, Marquette and Creighton, the top three teams in the conference standings. The Bluejays jumped out to a 12-0 lead to open the game but the Hoyas closed the first quarter on a 20-7 run to take the lead with two seconds left in the frame.
