The Bluejays dealt No. 11/12 DePaul its first BIG EAST loss of the season, halting its winning streak at 10 games, by erasing a 22-point first-half deficit in Chicago. No. 11/12, DePaul is the highest ranked team Creighton has ever defeated. Down 43-25 early in the third quarter, the Bluejays went on a 16-0 run to get within two with 2:17 left in the frame. Creighton took its first lead of the contest with 5:48 left in the fourth and never trailed again, despite the Blue Demons holding the Bluejays off the scoreboard for the final three minutes.
