Head coach Jim Flanery picked up career win No. 300 as Creighton upset previously undefeated and nationally ranked Villanova in Omaha. Audrey Faber and Jaylyn Agnew scored 19 points apiece to lead the Bluejays (7-4, 1-0 BIG EAST), while Megan Quinn and Jannah Tucker scored 11 each for the Wildcats (10-1, 0-1). Creighton outscored Villanova 37-21 in the second half despite both teams shooting over 40 percent for the game. The Wildcats, ranked 18th in this week’s polls, entered the game 10-0, one of just seven unbeaten teams in Division I.
