The Hall’s Lauren Park-Lane scored a game-high 29 points but it was Paige Bueckers and the third-ranked Huskies which picked up the win at Walsh Gym on Tuesday night. Bueckers scored 25 points, including 19 in the second half, off 11-of-14 shooting to go along with five assists and four rebounds to lead UConn to its first BIG EAST win since the 2012-13 season. The Huskies (2-0, 1-0 BIG EAST) led by just eight at the half after Park-Lane lit up the scoreboard for 19 points over the first 20 minutes to keep Seton Hall (2-2,0-1) within striking distance.
