After Duke’s Leaonna Odom scored on a lay-up on the first possession of the second half to give her team a 30-22 advantage, the Wildcats went on a 14-0 run to take a 36-30 lead with 4:30 remaining in the third quarter, a lead they would not look back on. The Wildcats picked up the 64-55 victory over the nation’s 11th-ranked squad to improve to 3-0 on the season, with Kelly Jekot pacing Villanova with a career-high 23 points and seven 3-pointers, while senior guard Alex Louin finished the day with 17 points, nine rebounds, four assists and four steals.
