After just one season with the Creighton Bluejays, guard Kobe Paras will be transferring, per Jon Nyatawa of the Omaha World-Herald.
Paras, the son of Filipino basketball legend and actor Benjie Paras, averaged 1.3 points and 1.0 rebounds per game in 15 games for the Bluejays in the 2016-17 season.
Creighton’s guard-heavy roster made playing time hard to come by for Paras, and the situation seemingly wasn’t going to be any better next season.
Originally, Paras committed to UCLA prior to decommitting and committing to Creighton.
He’ll have to sit out next season per NCAA transfer rules, and will have three years of eligibility remaining.
