The Georgetown Hoyas received some good news on Thursday as it pertains to their roster for the upcoming 2018-19 season.
Jessie Govan, the Hoyas’ towering and imposing big man, will be returning to school. Both ESPN’s Jeff Goodman and CBS/FanRag Sports’ Jon Rothstein simultaneously reported the news at, pretty much, the exact same time on Thursday evening.
The Hoyas were poised to possibly lose both Govan and Marcus Derrickson to the pros this offseason. Derrickson departed while signing an agent, so head coach Patrick Ewing was all set to account for his loss.
